During Ramadan, Rainbow Street provided a haven with cafes and shops remaining open. Books At Cafe, a unique blend of restaurant, bookstore, and art gallery, and the quieter Old View cafe with its panoramic cityscapes, were two highlights.
Jerash: Stepping Back in Time
Just north of Amman lies Jerash, one of the best-preserved Roman cities outside of Italy. This ancient city, once a thriving commercial and cultural center, boasts impressive landmarks like the Hippodrome, the Oval Plaza, and the South Theatre. Walking among these ruins offers a glimpse into a bygone era.
